Storing drinking water leads to germination within only a few days. Germs will develop and harm your health. The best action against this is the application of UV lamps. They work efficiently by disturbing the transfer of the genotype information when the cells split. As a result, the germs die. The REICH UV 12 submersible lamp works according to this principle. It consists of a submersible tube, encased by special quartz glass, and an electronic control gear which is used for the control of the power supply. Water-tight electricity connections and a compact size allow its use as a submersible lamp in fresh-water tanks.
