The Caratec Audio sound system was specially developed for motorhomes and consists of a compact amplifier with integrated DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and a subwoofer. What does that mean exactly? The amplifier optimizes the sound of your existing speakers in the vehicle and drives the powerful subwoofer. The result is a much clearer, livelier sound image and a completely new, convincing sound experience that ensures music enjoyment even at low volumes.

The sound system's sound processor (DSP) optimizes the high-frequency reproduction and compensates for possible weaknesses caused by the installation. This gives you a more precise and detailed sound quality that will delight you.

The subwoofer provides extended bass reproduction and at the same time relieves the other speakers of the low frequencies. Simple installation without separate connections

Installing the Caratec Audio sound system couldn't be easier. Thanks to the plug & play wiring harness, installation is quick and uncomplicated and separate connections to the vehicle are not required. The subwoofer is usually mounted under the front passenger seat or the driver's seat, but other mounting locations are also possible, for example behind the driver's seat.

And if you need extra space, you can purchase an optional 2 m extension cable.

Specific versions for Fiat Ducato and integrated motorhomes

If you own a Fiat Ducato, there are sound systems specially configured for this vehicle. The basic versions for the driver's cab include a 4-channel amplifier with integrated DSP sound processor and a subwoofer. The extended versions for the cab and living area also include a 6-channel amplifier, a subwoofer and 2 compact loudspeakers, which can be easily integrated thanks to the housing variants supplied for flush, surface and corner mounting.

In the special versions for vehicles with existing Caratec Audio CAK1650.DU loudspeakers, these loudspeakers are optimally controlled via the CAS207D or CAS208D versions of the sound system.

If you have an integrated motorhome, there are also suitable sound systems available. The basic versions are configured with different speaker systems for sound enhancement in driver's cabs. The extended versions also offer compact speakers for the living area.
