PowerPack Basic mit BCB 25/20 – Einfache Montage und optimale Ladung für deine Batterie
PowerPack Basic can be installed parallel to any existing basic electronics in any caravan or camper. If connected to the grid (230 V), the BCB 25/20 provides an additional 20 A. While driving, the BCB runs in its booster mode. It kicks-in if needed, requests 25 A charging current, regulates down to the necessary charging voltage (adjustable to the type of battery used) and charges wet, gel, LiFeP04 or AGM batteries with the ideal IUoU characteristic curve. Constant charging current for "Euro 5" and "Euro 6" vehicles is guaranteed. The battery computer MT iQ Basic included in the set displays the remaining battery capacity and the applied electrical charge.
Easy and Quick Installation: A high-current relay (80 A) and cables are included in the set. Hence, the installation of BCB and battery computer are very easy, even in vehicles with pre-installed electrical management system (EBL).
Scope of delivery: MT BCB 25/20; MT iQ Basic; BCB cable set; high-current relay 12 V 80 A; cable set iQ Basic; surface mounting housing, cable connector, mounting base.

Caravans and campers are seldom ideally equipped ex works. Onboard electronics are mainly affected by this. Even if more and more energy consumers are installed to increase the passengers' comfort today, the necessary infrastructure is not provided. Nowadays, campers and caravans are, for instance, equipped with high-quality onboard batteries ex works, but often they can not perform up to their full capacities or fail prematurely, as they are plainly not charged adequately or sufficiently: Most of the time, the installed charging power is insufficient at the socket and/or while driving. Additionally, the battery's charging is temporarily shut off in many "Euro 5" and "Euro 6" vehicles. PowerPacks by BÜTTNER ELEKTRONIK solve these problems. They can either be used as the only charger or connected in addition to the existing onboard electronics. Hence, they provide a reliable charging current (20 A; 30 A; 40 A) either connected to the 230 V mains or also during the declining dynamo charging. All PowerPacks come with a Battery Computer which displays the remaining capacity. The perfect match for this system is a solar panel, which ensures re-charging even while the vehicle standing.
Installation
PowerPack Basic and PowerPack I and II come with a high-current relay (12 V; 80 A) and can be used easily in vehicles with EBL. PowerPack Classic and Power+Classic Power Plus do not include this relay, as the powerful BCBs can also be used as a main charger for self-conversions or van conversions. If you want to integrate these PowerPacks into an existing system, you need an additional high-current relay, which has to be ordered separately.
Decision Aid
PowerPack Basic is ideal for solar system newcomers. The BCB 25/20 acts like a booster (25 A) while driving and provides an additional charging current of 20 A at 230 V mains. If you are looking for a way to charge your battery with additional solar power, the PowerPack Classic I is your device! Easy to install and reliable information on the remaining battery capacity. With the PowerPack Classic I, it is also possible to charge the battery via solar power. It is sufficient to compensate standard energy consumers as well as TV/Sat without any additional power supply between spring and autumn. For doubled solar power:, the PowerPack Classic II should be your choice! More charging power while operated standing or driving provides the PowerPack Classic Power. It ensures a quick charge if connected to the 230 V mains or in its booster mode. If you need to charge battery capacities over 200 Ah or LiFePO4 batteries quickly, the PowerPack Classic Power Plus is ideal. Just check on how much solar power your vehicle needs, but our experience is that with higher battery capacities come more energy consumers on board and a solar power device of 200 Wp or 340 Wp is a good choice then.
