PerfectCharge MCA charger - Charge your camping battery optimally

The PerfectCharge MCA charger has been specially developed for starter and supply batteries to meet their different requirements. Starter batteries must primarily supply a high current for starting the engine and then act as a buffer battery for smaller cycles. Supply batteries, on the other hand, are discharged and recharged at lower currents over longer periods of time. Due to these different loads, they require special charging technology to prevent damage and extend their service life.

The IUoU battery chargers make this possible with their unique six-stage charging cycle. They offer optimum charging conditions for gel, fleece and wet batteries by charging quickly and gently.

The six-stage IUoU charging cycle in detail

I phase: In the initial phase, the discharged battery is charged with a constant current (100% charging current) until the battery voltage reaches the charging voltage.

Uo phase: In the main charging phase, the Uo phase, the voltage remains constant (Uo) and the battery is fully charged. The charge of the battery is determined in the first 2 minutes. As soon as the battery is fully charged or the charging current is below 6% of the nominal charging current for 15 minutes, the Uo phase is terminated.

U phase: Once the Uo phase is complete, the charger switches to trickle charge mode. Every 12 days, the charger returns to the I phase to revitalize the battery and prevent sulphation.
