The system is monitored and controlled via a special battery computer that is connected to the battery management system (BMS) of the lithium battery.

Thanks to the PowerUnit, you can not only significantly increase the capacity of your battery system, but also enable a high current draw. The system is also independent of the outside temperature, which means you can use it in any environment. The lithium battery also has an extremely long service life, so you can use the battery system for a long time.

Safe and intelligent control of the battery system

The PowerUnit's battery computer controls the battery system and prevents the lithium battery from being charged further by the existing charging systems when it is already fully charged. This extends the service life of the lithium battery. The battery computer also displays the total available capacity of the battery system in the interior so that you are always informed about the current status.

Flexibility and additional functions

A major advantage of the PowerUnit is that you can keep all the existing charging equipment in your vehicle and continue to use it. The existing on-board battery serves as a backup battery and is used when the lithium battery is almost completely discharged or has been switched off by the battery computer for certain reasons.

Furthermore, the PowerUnit can be set so that the lithium battery is not fully charged, but is kept in the optimum partial charge state if the vehicle is not used for a longer period of time. This significantly increases the service life of the LiFePO4 battery. If necessary, longer charging times can be compensated for with an additional charger.
