Crystalline solar panles with the latest cell structure (vertical-stripe technology) for charging the 12 V onboard battery. In comparison with usual solar panels in which single square cells are installed, the major benefit of CIS panels is that they are far more resistant to partial shading. In mobile use, in particular, this results in a greater energy production, if shadow is unavoidable, depending on the location, due to branches, a roof box, sat receiver or opened skylight. CIS panels can also cope with weak light performance and impres with their excellent manufacturing quality. A robust circumferential aluminium frame protects the cells which are fully embedded and therefore additionally protected by special safety glass. The manufacturer offers a warrant of 25 years.
