Thule Elite G2 Short Fahrradträger

The Thule Elite G2 was systematically developed from the existing and proven Thule Elite carrier. Especially the rails have been redesigned: Now they feature enhanced, slidable quick blockers for secure tire fastening. For extra security and stability while driving, the Thule Elite was equipped with massive oval tube made of anodised aluminium. Injection moulding parts of plastic and aluminium guarantee excellent workmanship. A new and innovative platform locking device ensures that the carrier makes no sudden movements on rough roads. The carrier is equipped with 2 flexible bike rails, which can be moved sideways, including the bike. Installation is done with a sturdy fastening rail, installed underneath by invisible fastening points. Due to this rail and an optional mounting rail (Item no. 89 450) for the upper fixation, the load is evenly distributed to the vehicle’s rear. The carrier can be extended by a 3rd variable and a 4th fixated rail. The sturdy carrying frame for bikes is pre-assembled and has a load capacity of 60 kg (per rail max. 30 kg); per rail a bike holder with soft surface is included, suitable for bike cross bars up to ø 70 mm. The installation height is depending on version variable from 50 to 150 cm.
