Notes on the use of low-pressure regulators for caravans

According to DVGW worksheet G 607 "LPG systems in inhabited leisure vehicles and for residential purposes in other road vehicles - Operation and testing", pressure regulators must be replaced with new ones no later than 10 years after the date of manufacture. If the operating pressure of the gas system is 30 mbar, the old regulator must be replaced with a regulator in accordance with DIN EN 12864.

Liquid gas systems in vehicles with an operating pressure of 50 mbar are grandfathered, which means that there is no obligation to convert to 30 mbar.
