With the SOG toilet vent type E, you can use your camping toilet odour-free without the use of sanitary additives. Thanks to a specially developed, small high-performance fan, a vacuum is created in the waste tank, which directs the odors outside and draws in fresh air.

How does the SOG toilet ventilation system work?

The system is based on the principle of a "suction" that is created when the toilet slide is opened. The high-performance fan switches on automatically and creates a vacuum at the slider opening. This draws in fresh air and any odors that arise and directs them outside. The intake air acts as a seal and prevents unpleasant foul gases from rising out of the tank. Each time the cassette is used, additional air (oxygen) is drawn into the cassette and water is added through the rinsing process.

Even after the automatic switch-off, i.e. when the slider is closed, the system is permanently aerated thanks to a pipe or hose connection that is always open to the outside. This oxygen supply promotes the decomposition process in the waste-holding tank.

When should the replacement and activated charcoal filters be changed?
