Mounting the Thule Elite Van XT bike carrier for the VW Crafter is very straightforward and does not require any holes to be drilled in the vehicle. The Thule bike carrier is attached using clamps and PU adhesive and can be easily removed when not in use. As the Thule Elite Van XT is attached to the right-hand rear door, the door can be opened even when the bike carrier is loaded.

Thanks to the wide 20 cm distance between the rails, loading the bikes is quick and easy. The bikes can also be secured quickly using height-adjustable frame holders and shaft buckles to prevent any movement.

The Thule Elite Van XT fits perfectly on the right-hand rear door of the VW Crafter from model year 2017 and identical vehicle models. The Thule bike carrier can be conveniently mounted at 3 different heights on the rear door.
