Residence G3 front section

The tried-and-tested Safari Residence protective tent enters its third generation with a new design. It consists of 2 individual side walls and a front wall in a neutral color (RAL 9002). The window films incorporated in the side panels are fitted with mosquito nets and can be opened completely. The front section has an integrated entrance door on both the right and left (from a length of 3.5 m) and can be rolled up either partially or completely. Thanks to the integrated fastening rail, the front can be easily combined with a sun blocker, for example. The side panels are firmly attached to the awning fabric by means of a clamping profile. The front and sides are joined together by a double piping profile, creating a strong, wind-resistant connection. A height-adjustable pole profile with a double rubber lip, into which the piping of the side wall is inserted, is pressed against the vehicle wall and thus seals this area perfectly. Additional stability is provided by a diagonal support between the clamping profile and the mast profile. The Thule Residence is available in 6 different heights (see table) for vehicles with straight side walls. If the awning is mounted close above the vehicle door, special side panels are available as a special order for combination with a higher front with a lower roof pitch. A delivery time of approx. 4 - 6 weeks must be expected for all special orders. Delivery includes panniers and trolley skirt.

Front wall design

Depending on the awning length, the design of the front wall varies without compromising on brightness and comfort. Wide and narrower front sections are combined. All front sections, including the large panoramic windows, can be rolled up completely. The narrow front sections serve as an entrance door.
