Caratec audio sound system for motorhomes

The Caratec Audio sound system is an active plug & play sound system specially designed for motorhomes. It consists of a compact amplifier with integrated DSP and a subwoofer. The amplifier optimizes the sound of the existing speakers in the vehicle and drives the powerful subwoofer. The integrated sound processor (DSP) compensates for any weaknesses in the high-frequency reproduction and the subwoofer ensures improved low-frequency reproduction. The result is a much clearer and livelier sound image that allows music to be enjoyed even at low volumes.

The Caratec audio sound system is available in different versions to meet the specific requirements of different vehicles. Specially configured sound systems are available for Fiat Ducato vehicles. The basic versions (CAS200D / CAS201D / CAS207D / CAS215D) for the driver's cab consist of a 4-channel amplifier with integrated DSP sound processor and a subwoofer. The extended versions (CAS204D / CAS208D) for the driver's cab and living area also include a 6-channel amplifier, a subwoofer and 2 compact speakers. These can be easily integrated thanks to the supplied housing variants for flush, surface and corner mounting. The CAS207D and CAS208D versions are particularly suitable for vehicles that are already equipped or are to be equipped with the Caratec Audio CAK1650.DU loudspeakers (item no. 72 749). With the basic versions, existing loudspeakers can still be controlled by the radio.

Caratec Audio also offers special sound systems for integrated motorhomes. The basic versions (CAS202 / CAS203) with a 4-channel amplifier and subwoofer are configured for sound enhancement in cabs with 10 cm or 13 - 16 cm loudspeaker systems. The extended versions (CAS205 / CAS206) are equipped with a 6-channel amplifier and also include 2 compact speakers for the living area. These can be installed flexibly as they are supplied with 3 different housing variants. With the basic versions, speakers that have already been installed can still be controlled by the radio.
