The tried and tested Safari Residence protective tent consists of 2 individual side walls and a front wall in a neutral color (RAL 9002). The side walls of the tent are equipped with window foils that are fitted with mosquito nets and can be fully opened. The front wall has an entrance door on both the right and left side, which is available from a length of 3.5 m. These doors can be partially or fully opened. These doors can be partially or fully rolled up.

The integrated fastening rail makes it easy to combine the front section of the tent with a sun blocker or other accessories. The side walls are firmly attached to the awning fabric using a clamping profile. This creates a strong, wind-resistant connection, as the front and sides are joined together by a double piping profile.

To ensure that the awning is perfectly sealed, a height-adjustable pole profile with a double rubber lip is used. The piping of the side wall is inserted into this pole profile and the entire profile is pressed against the vehicle wall. A diagonal support between the clamping profile and the mast profile provides additional stability.

The Thule Residence G3 is available in 6 different heights for vehicles with straight side walls. The installation heights vary between 2.15 m and 3.10 m. For vehicles where the awning is mounted close above the vehicle door, special side panels in heights M and L can be combined to allow a higher front with a lower roof slope. Please note that a delivery time of approx. 4-6 weeks is to be expected for these special orders.

The tent is supplied with 2 panniers and a trolley skirt. This allows you to transport the tent easily and store it safely.

Front wall design

The design of the front wall varies depending on the length of the awning. Wide and narrower front sections are combined. Nevertheless, no design compromises are made in terms of brightness and comfort. All front sections, including the large panoramic windows, can be rolled up completely. The narrow front sections serve as an entrance door.
