The Safari Residence protection and extension tent is the perfect accessory for your camping adventure. It consists of two individual side walls and a neutral front wall (RAL 9002). The side walls have window films with integrated mosquito nets that can be fully opened if required. The front wall is equipped with entrance doors on both sides, which are available from a length of 3.5 m. You can roll them up fully or partially to create optimum ventilation and access. With the integrated piping rail, you can easily combine the front with a sun blocker to protect you from intense sunlight.

Strong and stable connection

The side walls of the Thule Residence G3 are firmly connected to the awning fabric by means of a clamping profile. A connection between the front and side walls is created by a double piping profile, which ensures a particularly robust and wind-resistant connection. To create an optimum sealing area, the mast profile is adjustable in height and fitted with a double rubber lip. The piping of the side wall is inserted into the mast profile, which is then pressed against the vehicle wall. Additional stability is provided by a diagonal support between the clamping profile and the pole profile.

The Thule Residence G3 is available in 6 different heights to perfectly fit vehicles with straight side walls. Use the table to select the height that best suits your vehicle:

Adjustments for certain awnings

If your 5003, 5200 or 8000 awning is mounted close above the vehicle door, you can order special side panels in heights M and L as a special order. These side panels are ideally suited for a combination with a higher front, which has a lower roof pitch. This allows you to adapt the Thule Residence G3 perfectly to your individual needs.

Front wall design for more light and comfort

The design of the front wall varies depending on the length of the awning, without compromising on brightness and comfort. Wide and narrower front sections are combined, whereby all front sections, including the large panoramic windows, can be fully rolled up. The narrow front sections serve as an entrance door and allow easy access to the tent.
