Proven design and practical features

The tried-and-tested Safari Residence protective tent consists of 2 individual side walls and a front wall in a neutral color (RAL 9002). The side walls are equipped with window films that are fitted with mosquito nets. These can be fully opened to ensure optimum ventilation.

The front section of the protective tent has integrated entrance doors on the right and left side (from a length of 3.5 m). These can be partially or fully rolled up. This gives you easy access to your awning at all times.

Another practical feature is the integrated piping rail, which you can use to conveniently combine a sun blocker, for example. The side walls are firmly attached to the awning fabric thanks to the clamping profile. The front and side walls are connected by a double piping profile, which ensures a strong and wind-resistant connection.

A diagonal support between the clamping profile and the pole profile also provides additional stability. The height-adjustable mast profile is fitted with a double rubber lip and perfectly seals the area between the protective tent and the vehicle wall.

The Thule Residence G3 is available in different heights for vehicles with straight side walls. The mounting height depends on the height of the vehicle. Here you will find an overview of the different mounting heights:

The design of the front wall of the awning varies depending on the length of the awning. Attention is paid to both brightness and comfort. Wide and narrower front sections are combined, whereby all front sections, including the large panoramic windows, can be rolled up completely. The narrow front sections serve as entrance doors.

The pair of side sections is supplied with 2 practical panniers. The front section is also supplied and includes a trolley skirt.
