Pair of side panels Residence G3 for TO 6900

The tried and tested Safari Residence protective tent consists of two individual side walls and a front wall in a neutral color (RAL 9002). The side walls are equipped with window films that are fitted with mosquito nets and can be opened completely. The front part of the tent has an entrance door on both the right and left side, which can be partially or fully rolled up. The integrated fastening rail makes it easy to combine the front with a sun blocker, for example. The side walls are firmly connected to the awning fabric using a clamping profile. A strong and wind-resistant connection is created by the double piping profile, which is used to connect the front and sides. For perfect sealing of the area between the side wall and the vehicle wall, a height-adjustable pole profile is used, into which the piping of the side wall is inserted. Additional stability is provided by a diagonal support between the clamping profile and the mast profile.

The Thule Residence G3 is available in 6 different heights for vehicles with straight side walls. For vehicles where the awning of types 5003, 5200 and 8000 is mounted close above the vehicle door, special side walls in heights M and L are available as a special order. These side panels can be combined with a higher front panel with a lower roof pitch. Please note that special orders have a delivery time of approx. 4-6 weeks. Delivery includes 2 panniers and a trolley apron.

Front wall design

The design of the front wall of the awning varies depending on the length of the awning. Wide and narrower front sections are combined without compromising on brightness and comfort. All front sections, including the large panoramic windows, can be rolled up completely. The narrow front sections serve as entrance doors.
