Pair of Residence G3 side panels for TO 8000

The tried and tested Safari Residence protective tent consists of two individual side walls and a front wall in a neutral color (RAL 9002), which were specially developed for the TO 8000 awning. The side walls are equipped with window films that are fitted with mosquito nets and can be fully opened. The front wall has entrance doors on both sides, which are available for awning lengths from 3.5 m and can be either partially or fully rolled up. Thanks to the integrated fastening rail, you can easily combine the front with a sun blocker. The side walls are firmly connected to the awning fabric using a clamping profile, while the front and sides are connected to each other using a double keder profile to ensure a strong and wind-resistant connection. In order to perfectly seal the area between the side walls and the vehicle wall, the protective tent is equipped with a height-adjustable pole profile into which the piping of the side wall is inserted. A diagonal support between the clamping and pole profile provides additional stability. The Thule Residence G3 is available in different heights to suit different vehicle models and heights. For vehicles with a 5003, 5200 and 8000 awning mounted close above the vehicle door, special side walls are available in heights M and L to combine with a higher front wall with a lower roof slope. Please note that a delivery time of approx. 4-6 weeks must be expected for special orders. The protective tent is supplied with 2 panniers and a trolley skirt.

Front wall design

The design of the front wall varies depending on the length of the awning, without compromising on brightness and comfort. Wider and narrower front sections are combined. All front sections, including the large panoramic windows, can be rolled up completely. The narrow front sections serve as an entrance door and provide easy access to the shelter.
