Residence G3 front section - The new design for your Safari Residence shelter tent

The tried-and-tested Safari Residence protective tent enters its third generation with a new design. It consists of 2 individual side walls and a front wall in a neutral color (RAL 9002). The side walls are equipped with window films that are fitted with mosquito nets and can be opened completely. The front section of the Residence G3 has an entrance door on both the right and left side. You can roll up the front section partially or completely as required. This gives you flexible access to your camping area.

The integrated fastening rail allows you to conveniently combine the front section with other accessories such as a sun blocker. This means you can add the right sun protection depending on the weather.

Thanks to the clamping profile, the side panels are firmly attached to the awning fabric and form a strong, wind-resistant connection. The front and sides are connected by a double piping profile to ensure additional stability. This ensures that the Residence G3 front section can withstand even strong gusts of wind.

To ensure a perfect finish between the front section and the vehicle wall, the mast profile is height-adjustable and fitted with a double rubber lip. This ensures that the area around the piping of the side wall is perfectly sealed. Additional stability is provided by a diagonal support between the clamping profile and the mast profile. This makes the Residence G3 a reliable solution even for long camping stays.

The Thule Residence is available in different heights to cover vehicles with different side wall heights. You can choose from the following mounting heights:

• Height S: 2.15 - 2.29 m
• Height M: 2.30 - 2.44 m
• Height L: 2.45 - 2.59 m
• Height XL: 2.60 - 2.74 m
• Height XXL: 2.75 - 2.89 m
• Height 3XL: 2.90 - 3.10 m

If you have an awning that is mounted close above the vehicle door, you can order special side walls to combine with a higher front. These side panels have a lower roof pitch and fit perfectly with your mounted awning. Please note that a delivery time of approx. 4-6 weeks must be expected for special orders.

Front wall design

The design of the front wall of the Residence G3 varies depending on the length of your awning. This combines wide and narrower front sections without compromising on brightness and comfort.
