Residence G3 front section: a must-have accessory for your camping adventure

The tried-and-tested Safari Residence protective tent has been given a new design and is now in its third generation. It consists of two individual side walls and a neutral front wall in the color RAL 9002. The window foils in the side parts are equipped with mosquito nets and can be opened completely. The front section of the Residence G3 has an entrance door on both the right and left side (from a length of 3.5 m) and can be partially or fully rolled up. Thanks to the integrated fastening rail, the front can be easily combined with a sun blocker. The clamping profile ensures that the side panels are securely connected to the awning fabric. The front and sides are connected by a double piping profile, which ensures a strong and wind-resistant connection.

To perfectly seal the area between the side walls and the vehicle wall, the front section has a height-adjustable pole profile with a double rubber lip. The piping of the side wall is inserted here and the mast profile is pressed against the vehicle wall. A diagonal support between the clamping profile and the mast profile provides additional stability. The Thule Residence G3 is available in 6 different heights for vehicles with straight side walls.

In case your awning is mounted close above the vehicle door, the Residence G3 offers special side panels for combination with a higher front with a lower roof pitch as a special order. Please note, however, that special orders have a delivery time of approx. 4-6 weeks. The Residence G3 front section is supplied with panniers and a trolley skirt.

Front wall design

The design of the front wall varies depending on the length of the awning and still offers brightness and comfort. Wide and narrower front sections are combined. All front sections, including the large panoramic windows, can be rolled up completely. The narrow front sections serve as an entrance door and allow easy access to the inside of the tent.
